  • VERONIKA MATUNIN

    Meet owner, Head Baker, and Pastry Chef.

    Veronika was born in Burlington, VT and raised in Massachusetts. She has been baking for almost twenty years. Her passion is cake design and she creates cakes and desserts for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. She has worked in New York City as a pastry chef and cake decorator for over a decade. Throughout her time in New York, her work has been featured in various publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, New York Weddings, Better Homes and Gardens, Sweet Paul, Food and Wine, Town and Country, and more. Recently, her work has been featured on Wedding Boston.net and Engaged New England.

  • FEDERICO SALVADOR

    Meet owner and General Manager.

    Federico has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry. His passion for food and beverage first began in Italy where he got his start as a bartender. After becoming a sommelier, he moved to New York City where he had the opportunity to work and run some of the most prestigious restaurants of the City. Him and Veronika moved to Massachusetts in 2016 and he had the opportunity to direct service at L’Espalier and run Bistro du Midi. After dreaming about it for long time, he and his wife Veronika have teamed up in the opening of Birchwood Bakery and Kitchen.
